What We Do At MCUBED

Mcubed is a nondenominational training institute that is dedicated to drawing insights from God’s Word in teaching, re-educating, and re-orientating individuals, couples and families in order to better equip them for Marriage, Family and Life in totality. The term “Mcubed”  is coined from the “Mystery of the Man and the Maid”. The ‘M’ represents the words ‘mystery’, ‘man’ and ‘maid’ and the term ‘cubed’ shows their fusion.

OUR VISION

To raise godly men and women who will reveal Christ in their lives, marriages and families as they consistently walk and love like Christ.

OUR MISSION

To create a paradigm shift towards kingdom reasoning that will arm Christians with the knowledge and understanding of their capacity in Christ, the purpose of marriage and family in order to raise kingdom marriages and families.

How We Started

Mcubed originally started in 2004 at the University of Ibadan but it was then called “Esther School of Marriage”. The vision was conceived by Mrs Ibidun Olude (nee Olawoye) when she was a single lady and an undergraduate student of the same University. The vision was born out the obvious struggle that millions face in marriage that has led to many dysfunctional and broken homes. Looking to God for answers Ibidun was soon to discover that there is not wrong with the institution of marriage but a lot is wrong with the people that operate it. In a conversation with the Holy Spirit she was able to glean that many marriages are crumbling because “Man has fallen short of My (God’s) glory required to operate in this institution. Christ restores man to that capacity. The more like Christ a man and a woman become, the more they possess the attributes to love like I (God) do.”

Words From Participants

Ms. Tope Osuntogun

I read books, was given books, listened to sermons/teachings about the topic but it seemed to be that the more I looked, the less I saw. I was really confused and honestly, at some point, I lost interest so I just asked God to show me and teach me. Then, He (God) led me to the Mcubed’s three (3) months training on ‘The Mystery of the Man and the Maid’ anchored by Pastors Ayo and Ibidun Olude. A lot of questions were answered. My life has changed since then.

Pst. Obaloluwa Adeagbo

I’ve been privileged to attend every Mcubed session since I joined the church in 2013. I can say it’s been an insightful experience since then. Every session was uniquely packaged to satisfy the hunger of the participants, I believe. I said this because each of the sessions are always uniquely planned… I have learnt a lot from these trainings. It was here I first had to really examine myself whether I was ‘marriable’ please pardon my choice of that word. I had to allow the truths I was getting to know sink into my soul to bring about transformation.

Mrs. Olamide Mustapha

I have been a student of MCUBED since 2011 and each time I attend, it’s usually as if I have never been to one. It’s always above my expectations. My 2011 experience totally changed my perspective about love and life in general. I’m so grateful to God for attending, I can’t imagine what would have become of me had I missed that training The process of unlearning, learning and relearning I went through, did me good and has empowered me to help those God brought around me.

Mrs. Tomilola Jinadu

My first exposure to Mcubed was way back in undergrad days. Looking back now, some of the things I learnt from then have been quite foundational for me. Some of them did seem like ‘strong meat’ then…lol, but as I stayed and grew more in my walk with God, i began to understand better Things like.. The purpose of marriage is not to make you happy but to make you more Christ-like The purpose of marriage is beyond the two people involved I’m indeed thankful for all the things I have learnt and is still learning.

MARRIAGE CAN BE A PIECE OF CAKE
THE HELPER QUESTION

There are some questions that transcend nations, congregations and generations. One of such is the woman question. Are women subservient to men? Can a woman lead a church? Are men and women equal before God?  Questions…questions…questions. What makes this situation precarious is that there are as many answers as there are sands on the seashore depending on who you consider your authority: your tradition, religion or family background.
